I didn't know which genre list to place this film on to; part thriller, part action and definitely part comedy, Send Help goes in many unforeseen, crazy and amusing directions. It's directed by Sam Raimi, so you get a good balance of gore speckled throughout and overall- you get a pretty wacky ride!
Two work collegues are the only survivors of a plane crash and find themselves stranded on a deserted island. Past grievances and indescretions must be cast aside in an effort to survive but with such a large shift in the power dynamic, it becomes a battle of wills and egos that goes to places that you won't see coming.
Rachel McAdams is fantastic here as the frumpy 'Survivor contestant wannabe' and she is aptly supportly by Dylan O'Brien who gives the term 'corporate upstart' new meaning. Together they deliver and bounce off each other perfectly.
It's fun, its violent and most of all, it is a worthy watch, so give it a go for yourself! Watch it with an open mind and you'll also have lots of fun with this one.
