Between breakfasts, morning teas, lunches, extra social events, endless phone calls, Christmas carols, shopping, baking, finishing off everything at school for 2016, concerts, meetings, excursions, two Grade 6 graduation ceremonies to attend to whilst trying to wrangle Seth's books, uniform and orientaton for catholic college in 2017, I am running on strong coffee and dark chocolate and lots of it!
The days are rocketing by now, jam packed and hurtling through time and space at break neck speed. Everything will come together in one final delightful symphony of Summer bliss when the down time commences on Wednesday 22nd December - my first day of holidays. I think that I am going to sleep until lunch time on that day because I am going to need to. Until then, off to the coffee machine I go....things to do!

A black comedy/romance directed by Danny Boyle and written by John Hodge, with a quirky slant towards the intervention of otherworldly beings when it comes to matters of the heart.
The archangel Gabriel has threatened to cast two angels from heaven if their next love assignment fails. Desperate for success, angels O'Reilly (Holly Hunter) and Jackson (Delroy Lindo) will stop at nothing to get the unlikely pairing of a spoiled rich girl (Cameron Diaz) and a cleaner (Ewan McGregor) to fall madly in love.
This is a pretty wacky romance story, and judging by it's reviews, that whimsy didn't translate to everyone. I however thought that this was a really enjoyable watch, Diaz was tolerable and McGregor was haphazardly charming and they believably bounced off each other on screen. Holly Hunter has always been a favourite of mine, and I just adored her as the relentless and at times ruthless angel, O'Reilly.
A Life Less Ordinary also has a fantastic soundtrack that just adds a little more icing to the cake. Certainly not your average romance story, but who wants average anyway? Watch with an open mind.
FINAL SAY: Have you ever felt like you're not in control of your life?
